A return to the theatre for Crooner Roman

6th March 2018 12:32 pm

Another fine example of the Cromer Pier Show incubator of talent as Robert Marlowe Dancer Roman Marek returns for the first time in 19 years in Crooners a smash hit musical comedy on it’s debut tour.

It may be a while since Crooner Roman Marek last appeared on the theatre stage, way back during the hazy days of summer in 1999,  with very fond memories of his season as a Robert Marlowe Dancer in our famous end of the pier variety show,  Roman is looking forward to a return to the stage, where it all began.   Returning in the smash hit rip roaring comedy musical as one of the Crooner trio on Good Friday, its a must see for all fans of variety, comedy, swing music and silliness,  following  the story of three very British gentlemen as they defend the role of a crooner in our modern world.  Cue a splendiferous injection of British comedy.  Tongue firmly in cheek and an outrageous injection of Big Band swing, this hit musical has been wowing audiences all over on its debut tour.   Can you spot Roman in this fab cast photo from 1999 (clue.. he is wearing a very stylish orange tie and blue shirt) bet he is going to love us for this one!
