“Tony’s Day” Fundraising for MacMillan Cancer Care

A Big Thank You!

A magical day of fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Care Norfolk took place on Sunday 18th December in memory of our dear friend, popular Cromer Carnival and children’s weeks character Tony West .  The charity, chosen by Tony’s wife Amanda a former team member here at the Pier,  supports sufferers and families at the time they need it the most.

We invited our audience to wear a Christmas Jumper or something festive  to the matinee and evening performances of the Christmas Show and we were thrilled that so many people had joined in the fun.    The ushers  greeted the audience at the end of the show with collection buckets and their generosity was overwhelming.

Lots of hopeful’s flocked to the Christmas Tombola table at the interval packed with goodies all kindly donated by the team here at the Pier and special golden ticket prizes for the 40th year of the Cromer Pier Show.  Every single prize was snapped up in no time.

We are delighted to announce that we raised  an amazing £573.09 which will be presented to MacMillan Norfolk by Amanda shortly.  Thank you  from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and sense of fun to help us to make a difference to others lives.
