  1. Important information about how we are keeping you safe

The safety of all our staff and visitors is very important to us and in line with the latest government guidance we have implemented the new measures that apply to us.

Masks – In line with the latest government restrictions, face coverings must now be worn for all performances in the Cromer Pier pavilion theatre. Masks are now mandatory for customers and visitors, except those under the age of 11 or who are medically exempt. This applies at all times whilst in the theatre and all of our staff will also continue to wear masks in public areas.

The Government also announced the introduction of the NHS COVID pass as part of the new regulations. However, this does not apply to our venue so we will not be instigating pass checks unless government guidance changes.

Other measures we have in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience with us:

Cromer Pier Pavilion theatre full audience stage view

Crowd Management  – to reduce crowding we are making use of the exit doors as above to separate out people at key moments. Please enter and leave the theatre using the right and left auditorium doors on the side of the theatre seats 1-16 through the right-hand entrance and seats 17 to 32 through the left entrance.   Please do not enter using the bar entrance unless seated in the circle.

Track and trace information accompanies your booking but if you wish you may also check-in using the QR codes situated in and around the bar area with your NHS APP

We ask that you please avoid loitering in the bar area and try to send only one person to buy drinks, moving either outside or to your seat afterwards.See it safely logo V+H

Ventilation – the theatre is very well ventilated with airflow through the floor and wind catchers in the roof. We have added fans and directed them to help move air up towards the roof vents. Combined with the internal heat being higher than the outside air there should be a continuous flow of air to ventilate the theatre

Cast bubble – in order to try to avoid the cast isolating and closing the show they sadly cannot meet the audience after the show as in previous years.

We have been awarded the “See if Safely” accreditation to ensure that we are doing all we can for a safe return to the theatre for our audiences.

If you would like socially distanced seating in your bubble, please give us a call and we will do our best to arrange this, subject to availability.

Please DO NOT visit the venue if you feel unwell or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19

We have been thrilled to see audiences back enjoying the theatre and are really pleased we can continue to entertain you in a safe and fun environment. Thank you all for your continued support!

A tribute to the real stand up – Paul Eastwood – Sunday 31st October 2021

The cream of UK variety entertainment comes together this Sunday to celebrate the life of comedy legend Paul Eastwood in two fantastic charity events.  Funds raised will go to the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at The John Radcliffe Hospital 2069 fund, a charity close to the hearts of Corea, Harry and Paul’s family for the care and attention that he received. Paul is a part of the fabric of the Pavilion Theatre, so it seemed the obvious place to celebrate laughter, joy, and comedy in a fitting tribute to the man that has brought joy to so many during his illustrious career.

” No songs, no props, no gimmicks, just one man and a mic – The Real Stand Up”

Comedy is suitable for over 16s and may contain acts from the comedy club circuit.

If you can’t make either of the shows but would like to make a donation dedicated to the memory of Paul Eastwood then click on the link below where you will be able to make a donation and add a remembrance message…

  4. Closing week of the Cromer Pier Show welcomes back guest act ‘Tucker’!

Closing week of the 2021 Cromer Pier Show!

It’s closing week of the 2021 Cromer Pier Show and who better to join our amazing cast for the last week than comedy genius ‘Tucker’. After a very successful first week joining the 2021 Cromer Pier show cast, Tucker is back to give us a closing week to remember!

Tucker, was always the joker in the pack at school, but it was only after a career as a plasterer and as a Blue Coat at Pontins that he found his feet on the comedy stage.

Paul, known as Tucker since a boy simply because he shares the same surname as Tucker Jenkins from Grange Hill, has been a staple of the comedy scene for the past two decades. He travels the world over with his gags, observational humour and wry take on the world. In his own words: ‘I’ve been everywhere being funny.’

He has performed at Wembley Arena and The Royal Albert Hall, been on tour with Barry Manilow, Bradley Walsh, The Stylistics and had Basil Brush as companion!  His theory is that there are two types of comedians. The first says funny things, the second says things funny.

Now into his 21st year of making people laugh, Tucker has a solo show but has also created his own variety show with Saturday night star billing at Warner Resorts.  This feeling is something he’s reluctant to let go and even though he now manages 18 artists, the call of a life touring and living out of a suitcase is strong enough for him to dramatically declare as a parting shot:

‘I’m never ever going to give up showbiz. Showbiz will have to give me up first.’

Tucker is performing from Tuesday 28th September until Saturday 2nd October. For days, times and to book, click below.
