We are thrilled to announce the guest acts for the 2023 award-winning Cromer Pier Show!
We have four inventive and original guest acts lined up for you to join the cast during the 2023 season:
Saturday 1st July to Saturday 22nd July – GUEST ACT 1: Kev Orkian – A super talented comedian, entertainer, and musician. Kev’s rich and illustrious career has seen him perform all over the world, and a little nearer to us at the Thursford Christmas Spectacular this Christmas.
Tuesday 25th July to Saturday 2nd September – GUEST ACT 2: Jon Udry – A brilliant Comedian and Juggler, Jon combines his two skills to brilliant effect, his repertoire is young, offbeat, quirky, and hugely impressive.
Tuesday 5th September to Saturday 16th September – GUEST ACT 3: Mark Shortland – A Comedy Magician who performs an interactive, high-energy show that will keep you on the edge of your seat, he creates impossible pieces of magic that your eyes will struggle to believe. He is also the master of getting the best from his audiences who often become the stars of the show themselves.
Tuesday 19th September to Saturday 30th September – GUEST ACT 4: Ben Nickless – To close the season, Ben is a theatre favourite and our Cromer Pier 2022 show host. Ben will return with his trademark uncanny impressions and hilarious laugh-out-loud comedy.

Shrek: The Musical is performing from 28th May to 4th June.

The Cromer Pier Show is the only remaining full season end of pier variety show in the world and with many comparing the 2021 show production values to West End performances, it’s a privilege to bring to you, more sensational Live Variety entertainment back to the stage for 2022.

To compere and host the show, we are delighted to present one of Britain’s most inventive comedy talents, Ben Nickless, Ben proved to be very popular with our audiences when he performed last year as a guest act and wowed audiences with his quick wit, physical comedy and hilarious impressions, who can forget the Freddie Mercury sketch? we can’t wait to see what he has in store for this year.
Joining Ben, and performing at Cromer Pier theatre for the first time, breathtaking skills from circus artist, Nadia Lumley, Nadia has had an illustrious career and has performed with Cirque du Soleil and on stage and screen for Vivienne Westwood, Ed Sheeran and Jay Z. Her performances on the Cyr Wheel, hula hoops and breakdancing are sure to set pulses racing.
Show-stopping vocal talents from Ferdinand De Leon and Holly-Jane Crowther. Ferdinand is from Los Angeles and performed in the UK for the first time at the Thursford Christmas Spectacular in 2021, Ferdinand has performed and travelled the world on-board luxury cruise liners.
Ferdinand will be partnered by Holly-Jane Crowter. Holly trained at D&B Academy of Performing Arts and The London School of Musical Theatre and has performed as a soloist in “Sunday at the Musicals” Les Miserables the concert, South Pacific the Musical and Sleeping Beauty, to name just a few.

2nd July – 10th July – Steve Hewlett
Opening the Cromer Pier Show season is theatre favourite Steve Hewlett. Steve and his inseparable pal Arfur Lager and friends, return to the theatre where it all began, he will delight you with his up to the minute ventriloquism act, delivered with his trademark warmth and humour.
Steve was the wildcard finalist in Britain’s Got Talent in 2013 and is described as “one of the real magic acts of that final” by David Walliams. Laugh out loud with one of the best-loved comedy ventriloquists in the UK.
W/C 11th July – Andy Leech
Andy performs a hilarious one-man show of rib-tickling comedy, where he combines his gags with crazy magic and mayhem. Appearances on numerous TV shows are increasing his popularity with comedy lovers everywhere, both young and old.
W/C 18th July – Paul Burling
Comedy Impressionist Paul Burling shot to fame after starring in the 2010 final of Britain’s Got Talent receiving a standing ovation from the 3,000-strong audience.
He has since appeared on TV programmes, CBBC The Slammer, Dick and Dom’s Hoopla and Whatever Happened to Harry Hill. Described as “the best impressionist we’ve ever had on Britain’s Got Talent” by Piers Morgan he is sure to cause quite a stir.
W/C 25th July – Josh Adams
All-round entertainer Josh Adams will leave you amazed by his vocal ability, combined with his own brand of hilarious comedy.
W/C 1st August – Jon Udry
There are jugglers, there are comedians and there is Jon Udry!
Jon combines the two to such a brilliant effect that his unique performance has his audience roaring with laughter from start to finish.
W/C 8th August – Max Fulham
Comedian Ventriloquist Max Fulham was described by Joe Pasquale as the new voice of ventriloquism for the 21st century Max has become a regular on-screen, with multiple TV credits including special guest appearances on both series of the recent CBBC reboot of classic favourite ‘Crackerjack’ and on the opening episode of ITV Saturday night show ‘Game of Talents’.
His act is packed with fun for adults and children alike.

Comedy ImpressionistTony Russ is a familiar face from the 2019 Britain’s got talent semi-finals, performing his hilarious impressions with everyday items.
His inventive act is sure to be a hit with our audiences.
W/C 22nd August – Joe Pollard
Joe is an excellent family entertainer with his sights firmly set on mainstream comedy, he will be bringing an array of songs and laughter to our famous stage this summer.
W/C 29th August – Phil Reid
Talented comedian, and funnyman, Phil Reid regularly performs all over the world and has performed alongside leading comedians such as Jason Manford, John Bishop, and Tim Vine to name just a few.
W/C 5th September – Phil Loven
Phil’s career began when he was chosen to replace Brian Conley in the TV show “Tomfoolery”, he has since had TV roles in The Brittas Empire and ‘The Bill‘.
He has travelled the world and performed on luxury cruise ships and is a well-known face on the pantomime circuit.
W/C 12th September – Peter Lambert
Peter Lambert will excite all ages with his amazing comedy circus show!
Heart-stopping juggling and circus skills combined with comedy will deliver the wow factor.
W/C 19th September – Jack Glanville
A regular funny bones, Jack is one of the brightest comedians today!
His hilarious and energetic show of sharply observed jokes and a few songs thrown into family audiences around the world.
W/C 26th September – Mark Shortland
The Cromer Pier Show season closes with comedy magician Mark Shortland.
Mark performs an interactive, high-energy show that will keep you firmly on the edge of your seat. He creates impossible pieces of magic that are hard to believe!
The Cromer Pier Show will run from Saturday 2nd July until Saturday 1st October!

Joining Phil each week, and performing at Cromer Pier theatre for the first time, the incredible Circus and Aerial act, Duo Fusion will blow your mind with their passion-filled, mesmerising acrobatic performances, all done without safety nets or wires.
The power house vocalist and Cromer Pier Show favourite, Rob McVeigh will be joining the 2021 cast. Rob was thrown into the limelight on the BBC hit show Any Dream Will Do in 2014 and Rob will be partnered by the elegance and sophistication of Marina Lawrence -Mahrra. Marina trained in Musical Theatre at the Urdang Academy and Guildford School of Acting. Since graduating, Marina has worked on stage as a singer and actor-musician.
New for 2021 we are excited to bring you a brand new format, we have a different guest performer joining us each week bringing you more variety than ever before and even more reasons to come back and see another show! Our guest act for the opening week and performing on FREEDOM DAY is one of our favourite comedians, the comedy sensation ‘Tucker’, his warmth and comedy genius is the perfect way to kick off this spectacular season.

Those fans of the ‘Pre Covid’ format, with two shows changing over weekly and the Ultimate Show to end the season will have even more choice and more reason to revisit us this year. No doubt many may even book more than three times! Not that we expect everyone to come to see every show – there is only one such dedicated fan we know of!

Curtain up is on Saturday 17th July at 8.00pm with matinee and evening performances to choose from until closing night on Saturday 2nd October.
The Cromer Pier show is a 2 hour show, which includes a 30- minute interval. Prices start from children at £10 with great value family tickets and group rates available (over 10)
Having successfully operated in a Covid secure manner throughout 2020, you can be assured that the Cromer Pier Pavilion Theatre will be adapted to all Covid safety requirements in place at the time. Please be prepared to potentially show vaccine certificates or allow time for a lateral flow test before the show if the government require these at that time.

A huge hit with audiences in 2018 Steve Terry’s ability to tailor his comedy to suit the audience stands

10th August – 15th August – Jon Clegg
Jon Clegg is best known for his appearance in the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2014. Jon entertains audiences young and old with his well-known impressions, can you guess them all?

14th September – 19th September – Ben Nickless

21st September – 26th September – Steve Hewlett

The Cromer Pier Show season closes in the company and warmth of Cromer Pier Show star and comedy genius Tucker.
Tickets purchased using credit redemptions from 2020 cannot be booked online, we apologise for any inconvenience. Please call the box office from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday to Friday.
Tickets cannot be posted at this time, you can choose to print at home or collect at the box office on the day.
