In the unlikely event of a fire alarm, please leave the building immediately using the nearest exit or as directed by the fire marshals. Please remember that the pier is a wooden structure, therefore exit the pier to the forecourt and make your way to the Emergency Assembly Point at the pink building situated on the promenade, this will be clearly identified by a fire marshal holding a green emergency sign. Fire marshals can be easily identified by fluorescent safety vests. In the interests of the safety of all patrons and staff please treat the evacuation seriously and listen to the fire marshal’s instructions. Please do not attempt to return to the pier until instructed to do so.
